12 Most Bafflingly Awful Movie Tie-In Games You Ever Played

10. Bad Boys: Miami Takedown (GameCube, PC, PS2, Xbox)

What It Should Have Been: A free-wheeling, explosion-heavy, joke-laden adaptation of Michael Bay's cheeseball classic action film. Include some of the film's more memorable set pieces, like the car chases, and then pad the rest out with varied shootouts. This should be a GTA clone, for sure, but a good one. What It Actually Was: Bad Boys: Miami Takedown was disadvantaged from the outset, as neither Will Smith nor Martin Lawrence would lend their likenesses to the product. Hilariously bad graphics plague the rest of the production, as do horribly awkward cover mechanics, stymied by risible animation and aiming. The game is pretty sweary and very loud, much like the movie, but that's about as far as the similarities go. What a shame.
