12 Most Bafflingly Awful Movie Tie-In Games You Ever Played

9. Spider-Man 2 (PC)

What It Should Have Been: Exactly what it was on other platforms, a brilliant free-roaming experience in which you were able to sling through Manhattan and show off Spidey's array of abilities. What It Actually Was: The PC version of Spider-Man, for some God-forsaken reason, was essentially "Spider-Man 2 for Dummies", a watered down effort that pandered to kiddies with its simplified, tutorial-heavy approach, yet wasn't even fit for that purpose. The new cut-scenes were of extremely low quality, and the brilliant open-world nature of the console versions had been cut down completely, instead allowing you to swing only to certain areas. What continues to baffle is why consoles would get the full version and PC gamers would get the soft version. How many kids play PC games over consoles? And aren't PC gamers stereotypically thought of as "smarter" than console gamers? It makes no sense at all.
