11. The Expendables 2 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

What It Should Have Been: You and some buddies control some of your favourite action stars as you fight off a seemingly endless fleet of enemies without regard to character, plot or any relevance to the movie whatsoever. It needs to be loud, dumb, and fun, much like the movie. What It Actually Was: Firstly, you can only play as Stallone, Lundgren, Li and Crews' characters. Where's Chuck Norris, Jason Statham, and so on? But that's the least of it - the game controls like a milk-float, and despite how awesome this game should be, it's remarkably dull because it doesn't change the mechanics up enough or go as over the top as it should. For a downloadable title people don't tend to expect much, and a plot certainly wasn't something we needed here, but this feels less like a game made by fans and more one created by a committee who have never once watched an action movie.
