12 Most Bafflingly Awful Movie Tie-In Games You Ever Played
8. Wreck-It Ralph (3DS)
What It Should Have Been: A straight-up adaptation of the game we all grew to love in Disney's best film in years. Bring some big-time platform designers on board and you've got an instant winner, right? What It Actually Was: A bizarrely dull, totally forgettable platformer, which has you switching between Ralph and Fix-It Felix Jr according to their respective strengths, but this quickly becomes laborious busy-work rather than the compelling buddy gimmick it could have been. Some inventive use of the touchscreen would have been nice, but nope. Given that this is an adaptation of a movie that is completely about video games, and should have been aimed at 30-year-old coin-op fanatics as much as little kids, it's a dispiritingly effortless effort.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
