12 Most Bafflingly Awful Movie Tie-In Games You Ever Played
5. Fast & Furious: Showdown (PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS)
What It Should Have Been: With the Fast & Furious franchise switching gears to the "dumber than a pail of bricks" action movie mode, it should have been easy to make a gleefully enjoyable game that combined breakneck racing with epic action. Director Justin Lin has literally made game dev's jobs easier, because now they can draw from action games and racers to create a more varied experience. What It Actually Was: Showdown takes everything awesome about the last two Fast & Furious movies and takes a steaming dump on them. Though it tries to recreate some of the most famous set-pieces, such as the barmy vault chase through Rio, the physics are Godawful, and it certainly doesn't help that none of the movie's cast lent their voices to this dud. On the flip side, at least it's only a few hours long, though that time goes from being so easy you could play it blind, to spiking up to keyboard-smashingly difficult.
