12 Best DC Superhero Video Games

8. Lego Batman: The Videogame

Traveller's Tales first foray into the Batman franchise is arguably its best, and really only true Batman game they've made, considering both its sequels are more 'Justice League' than Batman in nature. The 2008 game sports Danny Elfman's iconic score from the 1989 film, but instead of following past lego games in imitating films alone, TT decided to pool together all aspects of the character's lore into one, creating a unique story of their own too. Said story allowed players a shot at playing as both Batman and his enemies, and I have to admit, the rogues' campaign is a lot more enjoyable, if not for their animated quirks being more easily identifiable than the heroes'. Its sequels suffered from unfleshed open worlds and being unable to sever their ties from the character itself, but the first is still a fun romp that takes a spot among the very best Lego games we've seen so far.
