5. Playing Really Bad Games To Bolster Your Gamerscore

Gamerscore Although gamerscore literally means nothing whatsoever and is simply a number next to your name, achievement hunting in gaming has become a massive part of gaming culture. Practically every modern game has achievements built in for you to unlock. Some are much harder than others to obtain, but you simply must get as many points as possible. Getting to 1000 points on Dark Souls or Skyrim is a hell of an achievement, but it'll take days to get there. Why not instead play a really, really bad game and get all the points you need to make you look much more awesome? Of course you'll never tell anyone that you got this game - it was obtained from a shady looking gentleman behind the local bar after all - but the evidence, unfortunately, is there on your profile for anyone who delves in far enough. 'Wow, this guy has 1000G on Oblivion, Skyrim, Dark Souls and....The X Factor?
