At first glance, the PS4's user interface certainly looks great, and for the most part it is: it's sleek, easy to use and borrows some of its better functionality ideas from what Microsoft have been doing on both their Windows platform and on the Xbox over the years. However, I wish there was simply more customisation available: I want to be able to organise my games and other files with the flick of a button, but at the moment, you have to make do with whatever configuration the PS4 sets out for you. Using the touchpad, it would be so easy to cherry-pick the features you want, and given how little functionality this feature generally has at the moment, it would be a great way to put it to use. In addition to this, there are lots of little organisational touches that need to happen: when I compare trophies with a friend, all our common games should appear at the top, rather than being randomly thrown together throughout the list. To me, this is just common sense, yet Sony apparently don't realise how counter-intuitive their current system is.
