12 Notoriously Difficult Video Game Achievements Nobody Unlocked

2. Seriously 3.0 - Gears Of War 3

Seriously 3.0 is probably the most difficult achievement from the Xbox 360 era. Based around the sequel's multiplayer, players are tasked with reaching level 100 as well as gaining every Onyx medal in the game.

While completing the first part of that challenge is time consuming but doable as long as you play the multiplayer regularly, it's collecting the medals that proved to be far too difficult for most players.

To nab this 100 gamerscore, players had to get 6,000 kills with every single weapon in the game, spot 12,000 bad guys, take 1,500 enemy leaders captive, and hit a perfect reload 25,000 times. And that's just the start.

These challenges are daunting in themselves, but it's the smaller tasks that actually prove to be the biggest headaches just because of how mundane they are. One Onyx medal requires you to spend the most time in cover in a multiplayer match 600 times, which means hundreds of matches essentially hiding from enemies and hugging walls.
