12 Original Playstation Games You Forgot You Loved

2. Gex: Enter The Gecko

Gex Gecko was a high-flying, sharp tongued reptile who made his way into our hearts in 1994 in his very own video game; Gex. This was a brilliant title but the green guy really made his mark in his second instalment. Released in 1998 Gex: Enter the Gecko was a 3D platformer taking influence from - and set in - the world of television. The storyline to the game was something of a heartbreaking one, Gex€™s father dies and so our protagonist uses TV as a way of getting over it. Eventually through a series of completely ridiculous events he is dragged into his gigantic TV and forced to fight his way through all manner of channels to find the evil-doer who took him there in the first place. The game is fun for all ages, a colourful platformer for the youngsters, but Gex€™s risqué comments keep it entertaining for the grownups too. However you look at it he has quite rightly tongue-licked and tail-whipped his way into this list.
