12 Reasons You Were Wrong About Batman: Arkham Origins

6. A Fully-Realised Batcave

Of all Batman's possessions, his subterranean lair is easily the most iconic. Acting as a sort of hub world in the game, the Batcave serves to provide the player with training opportunities, Easter-eggs, and even a mechanical wardrobe to change outfits. The amount of detail packed into the location is truly outstanding, with nods to the creation of the Batmobile, Mask of The Phantasm, and even The Red Hood.

There's plenty here for fans to sink their teeth into, with the aforementioned Easter-Eggs acting as both bonuses and as pieces of evidence that form the ever expanding Arkhamverse.

The cave is undoubtedly one of the most prominent features of the Arkham franchise, yet many of Origins detractors tend to overlook it entirely when they review title. It's very much a worthy addition to the series and is definitely in need of recognition. Plus, who doesn't enjoy the ability to talk to Alfred over and over again?

The Batcave was further expanded upon in the Cold, Cold Heart DLC, where players got to roam Wayne Manor as well. Despite its minor role, its appearance was just as essential as its underground extension and compliments the Batman experience perfectly.
