12 Revealing Video Game Moments That Came Out Of NOWHERE

2. The Scratch - The Walking Dead

Walking Dead Telltale Ending

Much like the comic it’s based on, it’s sensible not to get attached to anyone in The Walking Dead: The Game. However, it’s impossible not to fall in love with our hero, Lee, and the girl he’s protecting, Clementine. When you see Lee travel hundreds of miles with Clementine to help her reunite with her parents, you can tell this guy will go to the ends of the Earth for her.

After being on the road for weeks, Lee is about to reach the area where Clementine’s parents reside. But just before he arrives, Clementine is kidnapped by an unseen figure.

Just when things look like they couldn’t get worse, Lee is attacked by a Walker. Lee disposes of the flesh-eating creature within seconds, as he’s done many times before.

But as Lee inspects his arm, he sees the zombie left a tiny bite on his wrist, meaning he is destined to become a Walker.

Because The Walking Dead has never had any issue with killing off likeable characters, we should’ve seen this coming. But you grow so attached to Lee, you hope the developers would make an exception, allowing him and Clementine to ride off into the sunset.

Sadly, it wasn't meant to be.
