12 Video Games That Are Long Overdue Sequels
3. Left 4 Dead
Few games capture the intensity of surviving a siege from plague infected people than the Left 4 Dead games. Despite there only being two games, they're memory making factories. Every session, especially when you're playing with friends, became a story engulfed in so much fun, fear, and despair, that they're impossible to forget.
The panic of sprinting to a safehouse to get away from a rampant horde, all because your dumb buddy set off a car alarm, is unmatched. Especially after you've been blinded by an exploding Boomer, resulting in you unknowingly running into a witch and causing all hell to break loose.
Even if you get through that malady, you've never known pain like that of finally getting to the rescue vehicle only for you to get pummelled into the ground by a tank. Thing is, you'd do it all over again because it was amazeballs!
The rumours of a third Left 4 Dead have persisted since the release of Left 4 Dead 2 in 2009, despite constant rebukes from Valve. That's because everyone and their grandmother wants a new Left 4 Dead game.
