13 Biggest Things We Learned From E3 2018's Press Conferences
7. Sony Are Being Tight-Lipped With The Last Of Us: Part II And That's Great
Entering into Sony's showcase, we had so many questions about The Last Of Us: Part II. Who's Laura Bailey's character? What has inspired such hate in Ellie? Who is the mysterious cult featured in the last trailer? Leaving the Sony conference, we'd had none of these questions answered. Better yet, we actually had even more questions about the game's story.
Whilst for most other sequels this could be concerning, for The Last Of Us: Part II it's all the more exciting. Each and every detail that Naughty Dog releases make us increasingly intrigued to dive back into the franchise's world, proving the studio still has us in the palm of their hand regardless of the rampant speculation surrounding the game's narrative.
Despite the fact that it looks like we may be waiting at least another year and a half before we get the answers to our burning questions, Sony's secretive nature means that we're going to be primed for an emotional gut-punch when we do.
If there's any studio that's proven time and time again that they don't buckle under pressure, it's Naughty Dog, and if Last Of Us: Part II's puzzling marketing is telling us anything, it's that the game is going to be something incredibly special when it eventually hits our screens.
