Remember when you got that platinum for Fallout 3? Nabbed all the achievements on the original Arkham Asylum and then did it again for the Game of The Year Edition? Rented Terminator: Salvation just so you could get an easy 100%? Of course you do, and you'll check your trophy collection every so often just to re-live the glory days.

When you were younger, you had all the time in the world to unlock trophies and achievements. As you racked up thousands upon thousands, playing games to completion and seeking out guides to make sure you unlocked each one as efficiently as possible, there's a good chance that you amassed quite the nice little collection over the years.

And because getting a platinum trophy, or even clearing out over half of them in new game becomes such a rarity when you're a bit older, your past achievements become even more impressive. In fact, you come to look back on your collection of previous achievements with more than a little sense of self-admiration, remembering a glorious time that's long since passed.
