4. Two New Metroid Games Will Be Revealed

The Rumour: Regular Nintendo leaker SuperMetalDave64 has claimed that two new Metroid games are in development and may be shown off at E3, one being Retro Studios' Metroid Prime 4, and the other from Climax Studios.

How Likely Is It?: Fans have been waiting so damn long that, with the release of the Switch, the timing definitely feels right, but it's also pretty clear that Nintendo don't seem to much care about the Metroid series these days.

Plus, Climax Studios has flat-out denied any involvement in a Metroid game, which throws a lot of the leak's other information into question. 3/10
