13 Last Minute Video Game Rumours For E3 2016

12. The Legend Of Zelda Features Male & Female Link

Crash Bandicoot remaster

Here's a big one that set the web on fire recently, that when Nintendo officially reveal the new Legend of Zelda game, players will be able to choose between a male and female Link.

This would be a ground-breaking game-changer for the series, with particular regard to how it could alter the relationship between Link and Zelda.

How Likely Is It?: It's neither immediately believable nor easy to dismiss: game developers are trying hard to promote more inclusive options in their games such as this, but at the same time, Nintendo may prefer to keep Link a male simply because it's a successful formula that's worked for decades.

Then again, it's not like the option to play the game that way is being taken away, so what's the problem? It'd be an interesting addition, but don't be surprised if it ends up being bunk. 6/10
