6. Dreams

The latest effort from LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule is undeniably one of the most ambitious video games in production right now.

Like LBP, Dreams is a sandbox game with an emphasis on creation and sharing, for though the game's single-player levels involve manipulating a series of pre-made dreamscapes, the real fun comes when players build their own.

From what's been shown off so far, Dreams' comprehensive creation suite is limited only by the players' imagination, and it goes without saying that what other players post online will inevitably prove more creative, weird and intriguing than anything that appears in the base game.

Relatively little is still known about how the final game will work mechanically, and word has been quiet enough recently that some are worried about it, but Sony has assured fans that more news will emerge before the end of the year, probably at PSX in December.

Also, don't be surprised if it gets PSVR support, considering the nature of the game and how it already supports PlayStation Move controllers.
