14 Awesome 2017 Video Games You Probably Missed (So Far)

One of the year's most fascinatingly ambitious releases so far, Everything is a difficult-to-define simulation game in which the player begins as a random creature, say a deer, and then traverses a procedurally-generated world while having the ability to transform into, well, just about everything around them.

There's probably not going to be a more philosophical and weirdly life-affirming game released this year than Everything, with an overarching message about the inter-connectedness of the world and its natural beauty being one that's rarely teased out in this medium.

Above all else, there's truly nothing else like Everything out there right now, a game that easily passes the time and provides yet more proof to nay-sayers that, of course, video games are absolutely art.
