14 Controversial Video Game Moments That Pissed Off The Fanboys

10. Street Fighter X Tekken Already Has DLC...Hidden On The Disc!

Normally, downloadable content seems like a win-win. Its provides additional content to enhance the experience, is cheaper in the long run, and can be reviewed by critics -- meaning it remains optional for players. All seems fair, right? Well in march 2012, that was no longer the case when Capcom released the controversial Street Fighter X Tekken game. This crossover fighting game made headlines when we discovered 12 additional characters locked away on the disc and that a sneaky Capcom was charging us to for access as though they were DLC. Capcom would only make things worse when they responded with the excuses like "easy compatibility between purchases and non-purchases of characters," and "to save hard drive space." Since then, gamers have cautiously looked down upon Capcom every time they charged for any DLC.
