14 Fan-Made Sonic Games That Succeed Where Sega Failed

2. Spark The Electric Jester

The fourth game on the list by designer LakeFeperd. Noticing a trend?

Unlike previous games in the list, this is no longer just a fangame- this is an entirely all new game. Spark is a jester who's job has been replaced by a robot imposter. Once more robots begin to take over the world, he heads out to save the world from it's machine invaders, and take his job back by force!

While Spark visibly shares it's roots from the Before The Sequel trilogy, it's branched out into taking inspiration from Kirby and Mega Man X, creating a cacophony of run and gun abilities in a brand new, fast paced action adventure.

Spark is still in development, but you can play it's demo and follow it's development as it makes it's way to Steam Marketplace sometime in the future.

You can follow the progress of Spark The Electric Jester and download a free demo at it's Kickstarter page, which has long since passed the funding stage.
