If there's one thing we're missing in the world of gaming, it's comedy. And thanks to South Park's Trey Parker and Matt Stone being avid gamers themselves, they've been with the development of The Stick of Truth and now The Fractured But Whole every step of the way.

It's resulted in games that look EXACTLY like the TV show, with writing as sharp and up-to-date as it should be. For FBW, gameplay is mostly the same aside from a deeper combat system, but the big hook is that all of the game is a parody of the ongoing superhero trend - or more specifically, of the MCU and DCEU movie universes.

That means you get to customise your hero with all sorts of fancy loot and equipment, learn superpowers and choose sides as the kids act out their own version of the Marvel Civil War.

For Stick of Truth, the only thing that stopped that game being perfect was balancing issues and the occasional bug. Could one of 2016's finest RPGs come with the added bonus of being South Park-themed?

I certainly hope so.
