14 Video Game Franchises That Will Never Die

It's easy to be critical about the Lego games. They're essentially incredibly simplified platformers for children, no more complicated than hitting enemies and advancing through various obstacles.
With that said, they're a lot of fun, and they're one of the few franchises that can be played by multiple family members at the same time, all sat around the living room TV.
Until something else comes along and offers the same level of couch co-op, there'll always be a place for the Lego games in our homes. They're packed with collectables and things to do, and they're a great way for parents to introduce their kids to the wonderful world of video games.
