14 Worst Video Games Of 2019
2. Dr. Mario World
Another for the "What are you doing Nintendo?!" pile, Dr. Mario was never an especially beloved IP, but it was super simple: A puzzle game centred on lining up tablets as they fall, with you matching colour combos for high scores.
Dr. Mario World, then, should've been the easiest thing to get right.
How to get "icons falling into place" wrong? By having a terminally slow pace, unresponsive controls, way-too-short levels, paltry rewards, repetitious mechanics, and an overall sensation of just wasting your time.
The worst thing a game can be is boring, and this had less going on that watching wallpaper paste set.
Literally anything is better than playing Dr. Mario World, and for as much as Nintendo used to pride themselves on a "seal of quality", it was painfully missing here.
