15 Batman Arkham Series Elements That Would Make Future Films Great

9. Anarky In Gotham

Each of the Batman: Arkham games, with the exception of the original Asylum, has featured a host of 'Most Wanted' side missions, which task the Dark Knight with tracking down and neutralising the threat of various adversaries. Some of the villains featured in these have appeared in multiple games, such as the Mad Hatter or Bane, whilst others have appeared in just one instance, such as Professor Pyg, a surprising inclusion in Arkham Knight.

Origins and Origins alone played host to Anarky, also known as Lonnie Machin, a radicalised teenager that plants bombs across Gotham in his pursuit of his anti-authoritarian philosophy, which calls for social equality and a reduction in government and military control.

In the world that we currently live in, complete with faceless organisations like Anonymous, a general reduction in privacy as a result of technology and social media and a number of high profile large scale uprisings and protests, Anarky's persona is more relevant than ever.

A film could capitalise on this, expanding upon his bomb-focused side mission by depicting him as the leader of an Anonymous-esque organisation hell-bent on taking down 'the system', which corrupt or not, Batman must preserve to prevent Gotham from descending into full-blown chaos.
