On the one hand there's those who are permanently perturbed by the end of Half-Life: Episode 2 and long for part three to finally land, where on the other there's those who think of them more as 'those guys that run Steam, and give me tons of games for next to nothing.' Either way when they do turn their hands to development it's a momentous occasion, and with few developers being able to pull off such a self-confident teaser as that of Left for Dead 2, it shows Valve can deliver on the fanboy-pleasing thrills when it counts.
