6. FromSoftware's New Game Is A Totally New IP

The Prediction: FromSoftware's hotly anticipated new game won't be a Dark Souls or Bloodborne sequel as expected, but an entirely new IP, albeit in a similar vein.

Why It Will Happen: FromSoftware proved how they could diversify within the same wheelhouse with Bloodborne, and the Dark Souls franchise feels pretty played out by now, so now they realise they can survive without their bread-and-butter franchise, they may want to leap to something new straight away.

Why It Might Not: There's clear demand for Bloodborne II in particular, so they may opt to serve that fanbase rather than roll the dice on a new property.
