The Prediction: Blizzard will announce Diablo IV, most likely at BlizzCon in November.

Why It Will Happen: It will have been six years this May since Diablo III was released, and with many fans still angry about the game's bungled launch and auction house controversies, it's safe to say there's a hunger for Blizzard to deliver a home run with Diablo IV that avoids these obvious pitfalls.

It's practically an open secret that the game is in development, so it being announced sometime in 2018 for a 2019 release absolutely feels right.

Why It Might Not: It's Blizzard, who made fans wait well over a decade for Diablo III, so there's no guarantee it'll come along anytime soon.
