15 Greatest Multiplayer Video Games Of The Decade (So Far)

10. Little Big Planet 3

Little Big Planet
Sony

Realistically, any game in the Little Big Planet franchise could have appeared on this list. However, while die-hard Media Molecule purists would have you believe that the first two titles in the series represent the franchise at its peak, the third and latest game has just as much - if not more - to love.

Bringing three more heroes to the table each with their own unique set of powers to help them solve the game's puzzles, the emphasis on cooperative play was stronger than ever in this third release.

And thanks to this variety for the first time in the series every player is given a purpose and a sense that they're actually contributing to progressing through the title in a way that isn't felt if you're just playing through the game on your own.

Plus the humour Sony's flagship platformer is known for is still spot on, with Little Big Planet 3 losing none of the series' charm despite being created by entirely new developers.
