15 Hilarious Voice Acting Fails In Horror Video Games

6. Agony

Agony is a 2018 video game that put players in Hell and initially received an Adults Only rating from the ESRB.

Gameplay-wise, it is an FPS that allows you to traverse through the underworld and control demonic beings. But despite the premise and controversy garnered, the title just doesn't work as a video game with its numerous issues bringing it down.

One huge aspect of Agony that has been scrutinized is its voice acting. In the game, you encounter an NPC who warns the player not to approach the danger that lies ahead. Though he's meant to be foreboding with his words, the VA chooses a voice that elicits laughter rather than fear.

This is because the NPC sounds like he's doing a bad Frank Oz impression with a mixture between Miss Piggy and Yoda.

Unlike some of the games on this list that were great but suffered from bad acting, Agony just fails in every aspect. The title received numerous negative reviews for its dull gameplay and overused gore and is often considered one of the worst games of that year.
