15 Hilarious Voice Acting Fails In Video Games

7. Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night

Symphony of the Night was the Castlevania that dared to be - and succeeded in being - different. It got rid of the classic 'He-Man' look that typified the series up to that point, making way for a more campy, effeminate style that worked incredibly well. Then, there was the voice-acting.

The reverb is cranked up so high that it sounds like the whole game takes place in a cave, while Dracula, Alucard and co. speak in a dialect that seems to hint at the Shakespearian, but isn't quite sure about how to actually go through with it. This leads to strange utterances like "How is that I have been so defeated?" and "Think you I would forget such a thing?" In its own way though, the detached, distant sound to all the characters supplements the strange, mesmerising atmosphere of one of the best PS1 games of all time.
