8. Michigan: Report From Hell

This Japanese survival horror game oozed mediocrity from every pore, but kudos for trying to keep up the survival horror tradition at a time when it was very much on the decline. Michigan was released in Japan, Europe and Australia, but never saw a North-American released, perhaps because of the cacophony that occurs when you click the Play button above.

There's something of the Nicholas Cage in Deadfall or Vampire's Kiss in the voice-acting here - a kind of unrestrained madness that could be the result of no one being willing to step up to tell the voice actor to tone down on the wailing and the squealing. Who knows, maybe it actually was Nicholas Cage?
