12. Original Gamer - Assassin's Creed III

Did anyone do AC III's Homestead missions? You might not even remember them, as at no point in the game's close-to 20 hour runtime were they even necessary to its completion, not to mention the act of building up your environment, trading goods and hunting animals just wasn't fun whatsoever. Anyway, one requirement here is to beat all the supplementary mini-games dotted around the world (like Fanorona and Bowls, the tabletop stuff), except you'll only get them by doing the Homestead missions first - before having to reconcile yourself to the life of a non-assassin and beat the A.I. at each one. Needless to say the requirement itself isn't something you'd wish on your worst enemies, and the subsequent 'gameplay' involved in having to perfect these asinine time-wasting challenges made the whole thing ridiculous.
