13. 7 Day Survivor - Dead Rising

Remember when Dead Rising was mind-blowing? It's whole "Here's 1000 zombies on screen!"-shtick was brilliant, and for plenty new Xbox 360 owners the infested Willamette mall became their playground. However, it was one thing to spend some time caning the story and decapitating the undead six ways from sunday - but delving into the game's Infinity Mode just for the sake of seeing how long you could survive in total was another story. The premise of straight-up subsistence is easy enough in theory, but as your health continually chipped away every few minutes whilst the undead gnashed at your heels. Oh, and there were no save points, making this a tremendously big ask in a game packed with other equally long-in-the-tooth quests - like killing all 53,594 zombies, for example.
