7. Final Fantasy 7 Is Getting A Proper HD Remake

The Announcement: 18 years after its original release on the PlayStation, Square Enix finally answers every Final Fantasy fans' dreams by announcing that FFVII will be getting a proper HD remake from the ground-up, complete with a full voice cast. Not a port, not a remastering, but a full remake. How Likely Is It?:-10/10. Despite the insane amount of demand for it and rather uneasy state of the FF series at the moment, Square just don't seem very keen to give arguably their best game a new lick of paint, likely because of both the tremendous effort involved in properly remaking it, and the worry that it could tarnish the legacy of the original game. It would be one hell of a shock if it happened, and for that reason, there's virtually no chance of it.
