15 Insanely Underrated PS4 & Xbox One Games You Must Play

8. The Division

There's going to be a great book written about the development of The Division one day. Hyped up for years (long before the developers knew it would ever be ready, by the way), the game eventually released this year to lukewarm reviews, a seemingly completely different experience to what gameplay videos and pre-release media initially had us believe.

But what we did get - while not the expansive, gripping post-apocalyptic tale we were all expecting - was still a strangely addictive and compulsive third-person shooter. Although it suffered from spookily the same problems as the launch version of Destiny, The Division has since grown as updates have changed things and added new content.

While it took some major blows along the way, thanks to the most recent update The Division is once again an inviting online shooter, and one of the best times you can have with friends on console this year.
