15 Mind-Blowing Facts You Never Knew About Fallout
15. Matthew Perry Played It So Much He Needed Medical Help
Could he be any more of a fanboy? Matthew Perry, who voices Benny in New Vegas, told Ellen DeGeneres in 2009 that he'd played Fallout 3 so much he needed injections in his hand from having it wrapped around a controller too much. On the same show, he gave her a signed copy of the game and her own Xbox 360. It's a neat touch and Bethesda were thrilled that he'd gone on record to share his love for the series. In fact, it ended up with them offering the voice-acting gig to Perry when it came to New Vegas. According to Perry, the game is "bigger and smarter" than any other on the market and he knocked the role out of the park as well, delivering a fun, Chandler-infused performance with plenty of heart. It's a sweet story that is testament to Fallout's appeal.
