15 Most-Anticipated Video Games Of 2019

13. Death Stranding

Death Stranding Norman Reedus

Release Date: TBD

It's been four years since Hideo Kojima parted ways with Konami in the wake of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's release, but the video game auteur has kept himself busy.

Death Stranding was announced back in 2016 and so far the game looks to be retaining all the high-concept silliness that has largely typified Kojima's other works, with Norman Reedus set to play the game's main protagonist, and Mads Mikkelsen starring opposite as its chief antagonist.

Not much is known about Death Stranding, with gameplay having only been recently shown off at E3 2018. However, all signs point towards it being yet another kit from Kojima's team, and with the star power of Reedus, Mikkelsen and Guilmero del Toro behind it, who's to say we don't have another Metal Gear-sized hit on our hands?
