15 Most Badass Monologues In Video Game History

15. "God: The Title Suits Me Well" (System Shock 2)

So many years have passed, and yet no speech has bested the nefarious AI SHODAN's gloating monologue in terms of sheer evil genius. The constant static of what sounds like a million digitised voices thinking out loud and the eerie distortions of her voice removes all semblance of humanity in SHODAN, and yet her speech about the enslavement of all humanity is nothing short of poetry.

SHODAN's speech has echoes of J.R. Oppenheimer's "Now I am become death, destroyer of worlds" speech about the atomic bomb. Except while Oppenheimer spoke about it with remorse and fear for the human race, SHODAN clearly relishes the prospect of armageddon.
