How do you mess up one of the coolest characters in entertainment history?

Well, you could ask Aliens: Colonial Marines developer Gearbox, or you could turn your sights onto Bandai Namco, who created one of the most arduous and just plain naff-looking games this generation.

Aiming to satisfy the destructive, monster-battling side of the character, you were tasked with stomping through all manner of mostly linear levels, but the problem was, none of the scale was present here whatsoever.

Godzilla moved with as much response as a corpse, and that was before the repetition of his moveset kicked in. Sadly, this outing for the iconic lizard was way more Roland Emmerich than Gareth Edwards, if you know what I mean.
