'Walking simulators', you either love 'em or hate 'em.

I'm in the former camp, but even I have to admit Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is the very definition of an acquired taste. See, you're tasked with finding out precisely where the populace of a small, Shropshire village have disappeared to, and you'll do this by watching recreations of interactions between people as they're covered in specks of light.

That's it, aside from walking around, that's all the gameplay you get.

Turns out it wasn't anywhere near enough for people who had been following Sony's marketing of such an otherwise splendid-looking game, and when release day came, the cries of "So what the hell do you DO?!" were deafening.

Oh, and there was no decent run button. Talk about a stroll through the countryside.
