An excellent demonstration of video games' ability to be written with the same self-aware wit as Douglas Adams' finest novels or a Terry Gilliam movie, the Monkey Island series is filled with unforgettable lines. The above line embodies the series' quirky, clever brand of humour. It left many of us wondering "Well, what's the biggest monkey head then? Where's the punch-line?" But the point is that that line contains everything you need right there, teasing us and making us rack our brains for what Guybrush could be referring to. The line harks back not only to the satirical TV series Get Smart, but also all the way back to 'Big' Bill Shakespeare himself, who in his will famously left his second-best bed to his wife. Brilliant, though you do kind of feel for the wife...
