15 Overlooked PS4 & Xbox Games You Need To Stop Ignoring
6. Minit
I know, I know. You're going to say, "Well that looks like something I'd play on a piece of ham", and you might be right - but it doesn't make Minit any less charming or superbly designed.
Set around a lone hero finding a sword that then traps them to a never-ending loop of one minute lifetimes, Minit is like the original Zelda done bitesize, with a Groundhog Dog premise resetting you when the clock strikes zero.
While you might think this makes gameplay incredibly limiting, quickly you discover just how immaculately well planned every facet of the design is.
Instead of time being a burden, it only gets you thinking. Items and quest lines can go across multiple runs and weapons can retroactively unlock earlygame pathways. You'll unlock different spawn points and ways to mess with time itself to grant you some precious extra seconds too.
From front to back, not a single pixel is misplaced.
It's one of the tightest games around, with an indie dev spirit and focused vision you can't help but love.
