15 Ridiculous Games That Could Have Only Happened In Japan

14. Jackie Chan: Fists of Fire

gfs_31452_1_5 Sequel to Kaneko's 1994 2D fighting game Jackie Chan: The Kung-Fu Master, the new and improved Jackie Chan: Fists of Fire released a year later answered the call of many fans by taking their advice. It included way more Jackie Chan. What makes this game hilariously bizarre is not so much that it's Jackie Chan's video game, but instead the game creator's choice of character's and continuity. Based directly off the Mortal Combat series this game was extremely violent and bloody... until Jackie Chan shows up of course. In any fight with Chan all the blood will disappear and even if you win all you get is his thumbs up approval, "Good Job." The real main factor of odd is that unlike Kung-Fu Master, where Jackie Chan was an unplayable boss character (much to everyone's chagrin), he is three different characters in Fists of Fire. This means you can play as Drunken Master Jackie Chan, Spiritual Kung-Fu Jackie Chan, and Project A Jackie Chan. Things get a little weird when Jackie Chan fights himself. At the end the winning Chan says to himself, "You're getting better," and the loser Chan replies with same old positive thumbs up, "Good Job." Oh, did I somehow forget to mention that one of the characters is a mysterious Dragon that turns into a bunch of baby dragons when you win?
