15 Severely Underrated Xbox 360 Games That Deserve A Second Chance
9. Call Of Juarez: Bound In Blood
Whilst most players seeking their western fix always go for Red Dead Redemption, the 360 actually had a few other good titles taking place in the wild west - the best being the prequel to 2007's Call of Juarez. Developed by Techland (who are now famed for their superb revitalising Zombie title, Dying Light) and published by Ubisoft, Bound in Blood told the tale of three brothers who fought for the Confederacy during the American Civil War - an odd departure from the norm of the conflict's fiction. This somewhat sets the tone of the game, as neither Ray nor his brothers are particularly likeable characters. They're greedy, immoral, and none too bright, but their story makes for a compelling tale regardless. Bound in Blood featured a unique style of FPS combat, with the two brothers utilising markedly different styles of gunplay to achieve their objectives. The only disappointment really is the stark lack of Co-Op, though the game is still enjoyable without it. If you're in the mood for a cheap arcade style shooter with even better gunplay mechanics, be sure to check out 'Gunslinger' as well! Be warned though, 'The Cartel' is a definite no go.
