15 Severely Underrated Xbox 360 Games That Deserve A Second Chance
10. Spider-Man: Web Of Shadows
Apart from Batman, Peter Parker has been the most successful comic book character to find his way onto consoles, but with that success also comes failure, though Web of Shadows certainly isn't it. Upon its release Web of Shadows was criticised for its repetitive gameplay and lacklustre visuals, but despite its flaws it still ranks among the best of Spidey titles - doing much to distance itself from the very mediocre 'Friend or Foe'. Spidey is by far at his most acrobatic in this outing and the choice between letting the symbiote take hold or to fight its encroaching viciousness is fantastic to see played out. Each suit has its own merits and flaws, but both are essential in order to progress through the story. Web of Shadows also plays host to a plethora of other Marvel characters, with the likes of Wolverine, Moon Knight and Luke Cage all being given a chance to shine in the title. They're all handled very well, but if anything will prove to be frustrating with Web of Shadows' experience it will be Parker's voice actor, who gives Spidey a rather unlikable snivelling voice that even Professor Frink would be envious of. Still, if you can look past the repetitive aspects of gameplay and the poor voice acting there's much to be enjoyed with Web of Shadows. If you're looking to wash out the bad taste Beenox's latest releases have left behind, look no further than here.
