15 Things Only Call Of Duty Fans Will Understand
12. Capturing A Flag By Yourself... Only To Get Shot At The Last Second
Call of Duty developers have made great strides over the years in making sure players actually play the objective, but a good chunk of fans are still more concerned with preserving their kill-death ratio than winning the game.
Not you, though. You're one of the good ones. And as a result you'll find yourself trying to capture flags in Domination all by yourself to help secure a victory.
These moments can be some of the most thrilling as well, as you sneak around flanks, take out a few enemies and start capturing an objective all on your own.
The issue is, of course, that your hard work is punished, because it takes far longer to capture a flag when you're flying solo. As the bar ticks up, the nerves set in, as all it will take is one enemy coming from your blind spot to ruin your hard work.
That's often how these little conquests end, and you'll respawn wondering why you even bothered while cursing the rest of your team for mindlessly throwing themselves down the same corridors.
