15 Things Only Video Game Completionists Will Understand
6. You'll Avoid Games That Have Achievements Ending In Something Other Than 0 Or 5
Whether it be a list of extremely difficult achievements, or a list of them with odd-numbered Gamerscore, these games sometimes get completely avoided. Achievements usually end in a 0 or a 5, and when an achievement ends in anything other than that, it makes for a weird-looking Gamerscore; one that makes hitting a number like 50k or 100k bang-on, way harder. For instance, I bought a game called Gunworld on the Xbox One seven months ago and have yet to play it. 'Why?' you ask? Because when you start it up you unlock a 1G achievement. It's an odd reason, I know, but I truly don't want to have my overall Gamerscore ruined because of it. Mad Max is unfortunately another culprit of this, as well as Guitar Hero: Live. On the spectrum of hard lists, all Capcom games for the most part seem to want to punish achievement hunters (Devil May Cry, you evil game you). Completionists have some weird pet peeves, but hey, we are perfectionists after all, right?
