7. Akuma Joins Street Fighter V On December 20th

In an announcement that should surprise basically nobody, Capcom confirmed that Akuma will be joining Street Fighter V on December 20th...if you shell out for the "Character Pass" which also unlocks five new characters.

The DLC comes at a rather hefty price tag of $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99, basically cementing the fact that, unless you're an enthusiast who will buy it regardless of cost, this game has been an overpriced clusterf*** from the beginning.

Fans have also been hugely divided on the new look of Akuma, as well as some of the technical issues present in the gameplay footage (namely graphical clipping).
