15 Upcoming Games You NEED To Know About

7. Frog Sqwad

Panic Stations

This game describes itself as “frogslop”. 10/10. No notes. That might as well be the end of the entry as we’re not beating that.

But no, Frog Sqwad is another game competing in the ever-growing so-called “friendslop” space, where co-operative multiplayer chaos is the order of the day. Basically, if you want to work with your friends and laugh the whole time then it’s this particular lillypad you want to be sitting on, and Frog Sqwad so-far seems to be hopping above the competition.

Releasing in June for PC and Xbox, Frog Sqwad is a puzzle-platformer with extraction elements as you and your amphibian buddies collect as much food as possible from the sewer each round to feed your Frog King. The game has an incredible physics engine, with players swinging off objects with their tongues and inflating into bouncy frog-face balls.

100,000 wishlists on Steam are showing that one has promise to be truly ribbating.
